Flying on PC
What are you using to fly on PC and what set up do you have? I cant find anything that works for me
Mouse + keyboard. The vehicle sensitivity slider in the options menu at the highest level is not enough. Push your mouse dpi up too for better pitch and roll control. My dpi is 1200 right now, but I adjust it +/- 200 from there depending on how I am feeling. Also, make sure you have that setting ADS affected aim set to 'off'. That setting is better to have 'on' for recoil control as infantry, but worse for vehicle gameplay.
Go with the pitch up/down that feels natural to you. Below are my binds.
w = thrust
s = airbrake
a = yaw left
d = yaw right
mouse left = roll left
mouse right = roll right
mouse forward = pitch down
mouse backward = pitch up
spacebar = pitch up
ctrl = pitch down
shift = afterburner
@LlamaWithKatana IMO precision flight controls are more important than precision aim controls. You really don't want to be predictable in your flight path otherwise you'll get shot down. Most of the time I circle ground targets when I am shooting at them so that means I'm yawing, thrusting, pitching, and rolling at the same time. It's all muscle memory once you get it. And side strafes are definitely something you want a part of your arsenal as well. Mouse roll control makes transitioning into these maneuvers easier for me. You don't want to aim like you would a gun. You have to anticipate where your target will be and glide into it. Can't really fight the momentum with micro adjustments aiming so you need to manipulate it. I'm kind of always rolling the chopper to some degree.
@LlamaWithKatanaIn my opinion there is no right or wrong way. Which ever way keeps you from not crashing and taking out enemies. Got to start off with not crashing first
