(For the real fans)Why not a hard copy edition for Ultimate

I want something to display in my game room like the old days. all that nostalgia i get when walking past my book shelf of old game collections. it warms my heart to see all that kind of stuff. anyon...

    I know that many players would like to have physical copy of Gold & Ultimate Edition od BF2042, but there is not info on that at this moment. 🙂

Not sure where the "For the real fans" comes from.

Whilst I understand wanting something tangible to hold, a digital library is far more convenient.

@Trokey66 Same mindset as the audiophiles that prefer vinyl records.

To each their own I would say, but EA DICE is going to follow the money and if the physical discs underperformed in the past, they will naturally move away from them…

    I prefer disc versions, but it appears there won't be one for the Gold or Ultimate. I pre ordered the standard and will just purchase whatever content I will miss out on by not going digital. 

    Basically I'll just miss out on playing a few days earlier. Not a deal breaker for me.
