i Run every other game i have on maximum settings possible at 160fps and more depending on ingame stress ( lots of particels / effekts etc ) without any lag or gamecrash.
yet BF2042 cant
i get to an whooping 70 - 140 (very random) fps at every setting maxed + gamecrashes (especialy on manifest, this map is bugged as hell with invisible soldiers / buged end of round screens etc )
the input lag on the keyboard and mouse is extremely noticeable despite not having problems with my mouse or keyboard everywhere else.
This Game is very poorly codet, the devs are incompetent as hell and this game shouldnt cost more than 20€ or 50 with ultimate edition.
Thats all i have to say

Well you're all talking about PCs and I'm here on Xbox One with all the same performance issues and input lag.
I'm hoping they can improve it and this is the only issue that they should be working on 24/7. Along with the PC players there's a huge chunk of players who bought this game on last gen and deserve better.
None of the patches have improved performance.
Bugs are bugs and will get fixed and design decisions are purely subjective but if the game runs like s then everything else is meaningless.

What you are calling " stutter " are most of the time Rubberbanding spikes ,. wich feel and look like stutter but actually does not translate in real frame losses ... as described in Digitalfoundry analysis of the consoles version but this rubberbanding is also present on PC ..

It’s stuttering, not rubberbanding.

Yep that's the exact issue I'm having on Xbox One!
Some rounds it's mild and others it's severe and then in other rounds it can start off smooth, then start mildly rubber banding/stuttering and then goes to severe for the rest of the round.
Been like this since day 1.
A lot of users who don't drive much are less likely to notice as when it's mild it just feels a little laggy but if you spend a good deal of time in vehicles you'll notice it all the time when moving at a faster pace than running.
