Game balance feedback.
As someone that’s been a player tester for several games over the years, it seems impossible for me to believe that player testing is happening in BF2042. Its impossible to believe that feedback from...

Don't get me wrong, they rip me to pieces and infuriate me to no end, but 2 dedicated AA with a Rao should, in theory, make them a non issue
As @ATFGunr said we tried that EXACT setup in Breakthrough matches, I was running Rao with hack and SOFLAM, the other two were Angel's with AA. We had maybe a 25-35% success rate of actually taking down any of the stealth helis and sometimes the hack didn't seem to do anything to them at all. They were losing lock-ons like he said for absolutely no reason at all as well, something is wonky with them.
It may work in theory but in practical application it is falling a little short, and on side note the stealth helis have also figured out to stay just high enough to not get hacked and rain bombs non-stop.

If you're a pilot you see hack incoming and you can pop flairs to stop a hack (for some dumb reason). Were they doing that?
FWIW I've not been able to flare while actually hacked. But as we know there is occasional lag times between client/server/client and so you can see flares popping off after the hack completes thus breaking any ability to lock on.

@Anobixthe hack is not instant, so right when you see the disturbance you an pop flares before the hack is complete. The hack should not have any warning.
I completely agree with that, there shouldn't be a warning when getting hacked just like no warning when hit with an EMP
