@EA_Atic Nothing is stopping DICE from having PTS servers and uploading builds that haven't even passed internal QA to give players an idea of how rough they are : )
But PTS testing isn't exactly a new or novel concept. PTS testing - both closed and open - has been a thing on PC for decades.
But that seems to be missing the point of the criticism of this thread.
You seem like you're hinting at functionality/stability of early, untested builds, which is wholly separate from what this thread is discussing. It's not discussing crash bugs or anything of the sort, it's discussing the qualitative/balance aspect of testing.
Which, honestly, feels like it's not being done at all during DICE's internal tests, and players are immediately calling out significant balance problems that should have been identified during testing and need to be patched a month+ later whenever DICE gets around to pushing out the next update - if they even get to that issue which is unlikely given the long list of other issues and the fact that DICE frequently feels like they're playing a totally different branch of the game than the rest of the community.
