@Straatford87 The game takes way too long to begin once you choose a game mode and start a search.
Once you start a search it can take over 45secs in some case to find a game, then once a game is found and loads it takes upto another minute to fill up and start loading. We then have to wait another 30 secs for the countdown then when thats over another cut screen after a lengthy introduction to the map then another wait to actually start the attack/defence.
Can this be cut down to get into a game quicker, 3-5 minutes is way too long and tedious. It is nearly as bad when the game ends.
Right away in the first beta testing we all brought this up to EA/DICE!
And we have had endless long discussions, all complaining about this very thing here on the forum back at launch last year.
We have like 10-12 tedious splash screens popping up with senseless info/fluff between two rounds, from when ending one game to the next is started and your soldier unloaded and you start actively the next game round.
So a very substantial part of your total time spent on this game is actually spent on just nothing, but waiting for the next active gameplay period. The big empty maps and lack of transport vehicles adds further agony to this. As at times you need to run maybe 3-4 minutes with your soldier in the game to even find/confront any enemies for the FPS gaming that you came here for.
This is definitely an area that EA/DICE needs absolutely to do better on for the next Battlefield game!
We do not come here to look at pretty looking bitmap graphics polished in Photoshop.
We come here for some active FPS action!
