Bought this bug ridden game and its already on sale. Paid $100 for the gold edition and how its on sale for $65. This game goes down hill with ever installment. * you DICE!

It is not that uncommon. According to this article BF V was on sale a week after it was released.

@CantGetRightBattlefield V was also a horrible buggy mess at launch. From a sales perspective EA is making really bad descisions…

I stopped playing after 11th November.

it is a common thing that publisher drop AAA with a sale short after release.
I have this also written in another thread, Jurassic World Evolution 2 and the new Guardians of the Galaxy game where on sale last week both had discounts around 30%-35% both games have good reviews so it has nothing to do if a game is good or bad
Also, if I remember right these games were released somewhat 5-7 Weeks ago.
Yeah, it is a bummer that there are such sales short after release but this happens all the time so I don’t care anymore. I used it this time to my advantage and bought me the Guardians game on Sale 😉
And as a fan of Battlefield, I wanted to play a new Battlefield in a near future setting so I was an early adopter
And for BF2042 sale I don’t care, I have already played 235h now, so I have paid less than a 1€ the hour, all what will come is icing on the top for me.

- Not really much of a surprise, End of year and January sales on PS store is the norm, the game will go back to RRP post-January.
No one is forced into purchasing. I have held off buying Far Cry 6 because I just don't feel that any Far Cry game is worth north of £50Yeap, Cod Vanguard is on sale 35% right now and had the same free weekend as 2042.
