Has anyone been able to get a refund of their purchase from Microsoft/Xbox? This tihs show is going to be a repeat of BFV, no doubt in my mind. I don't want to waste any more time, or sanity. So PLEA...

Been having more fun in this than I have had in any Battlefield in years, despite its setbacks. Massive potential once they polish it and get past the disjointed launch.
Seriously. I am having a blast as well.
I'm honestly jealous. No hate here. Just extremely frustrated and disappointed. I can't progress, I'm at level 66 (I think) and I have unlocked every gun, but I haven't yet been awarded a single attachment for the majority of these guns. I can MAYBE play two games in a row before a drop out, server loss, issue with respawning, etc.. We all know the issues. I just know that the fixes wont be fixes. Like BFV, for every fix, half a dozen new issues presented themselves. I don't have the patience for that. I'd just like to move on and take my money elsewhere.

I also am on PC so our experiences can vary to a certain degree regarding performance. Are you on Current Gen?
Yeah, latest Xbox. So, look, the game is beautiful. A lot of the time I am in awe as to how great it looks. But, it is honestly only skin deep. Nothing works, at least for me. I mean I can't even select a loadout after one game. I have to close the game and open it to be able to select a loadout. And that only works maybe 1 out of 3 times. So, I'm now having to reset the entire console to be sure I open the game and can select a loadout. Not good enough.
Plus, I'm up against an entire server full of Patrician PC players 99% of the time also.
Me wants my money back!

Yeah I am also having bit trouble with the fun factor in this game.
BF4 was the last game in this franchise I had real fun with.
So while I find the contemporary era and weapons much much more fun than previous boring history lessons we got in BF1 and BFV, then the fun factor is simply just not really there. Due to the so many things missing or broken of what makes a Battlefield game a Battlefield game...!
Regarding the unlock of weapon accessories, then they are all linked to how many kills that you get with each weapon. So while your XP ranking up to 100 will unlock all weapons, gadgets and vehicles in the game then each weapon will only unlock all its accessories as you progress with accumulating kills with it. Think we need approx 30 kills with most weapons to unlock next accessory for it. So for many weapons you will need many hundreds of kills to unlock them all.
Also please note that EA have put a cap on XP/weapon credits that you can earn per day in the Portal and singleplayer/co-op areas in the game, so the weapon accessories unlock only really works in the BF2042 core areas of Conquest and Breakthrough. Any kills that you get in the other areas of the game do not count towards this until further... (EA disabled it after a few days due to some players abusing boosting to gain the unlocks)...

I've already got.my money's worth in a week with nearly 60 hours played. They have everything in place to continue their live service revenue from the game and keep updating. It'll be a rocky launch like damn near every battlefield. Everybody loves to forget the abysmal bf4 launch, or almost all the big title releases these days unfortunately. I'll defend the core gameplay from the "this isn't battlefield elitists", but I would like to see a change in the industry as a whole. Too much rushing and designing sneaky walks into our wallets.
On P55 and whilst the game does have issues, it is already more fun than BFV and has good potential.
Let's just hope the tryhard sweatlords don't hold sway.....
The really need to sort the 'there can be only 4' as a priority though.
