Geniuine question to DICE. How can I find a balanced match?

Like the title said, what I can do to get into a balanced match?

Lately, matchmaking always throws me with the people who have no idea how to play this game. I open the map to see where my team mates are going and mostly they just wander around, sometimes they even run away from the flags, stand around flag area if we need to take the flag back.

Losing matches with over 500 tickets difference, losing all the flags, how the heck the team can lose all the flags? Plenty of brain-dead pilots taking condor and heli and destroying it and giving advantage to the enemy that way.

Unbalanced matches like this never ever happened to me in the previous BF titles. Why? Because previous BF titles (maybe except BF5) had server browser and community server. If I wanted to play competitive match I knew which server I should join.

Anyone from DICE, see the screenshot I have uploaded here, and tell me how do you justify this ticket difference?

  • @Spaha_BiH The game as at the end of its lifecycle, meaning that finding an active server already is a challenge. Depending on game mode, region and crossplay settings you might find just 1 server.

But besides that, Battlefield 2042 does not have skill based matchmaking so even if there would be sufficient servers there would be no way.

A server browser is a much requested feature, but as said the game is on its last legs so we have no more hope it will be implemented at this stage.

So basically there is no any kind of balance going on in the background, since the game has been launched.

What I have noticed also, after every update, I am constantly joining the loser team, just this week, I don`t remember I have won single match.

It`s ironic sometimes that AI can be more useful than the actual players.

But yeah, this 2042 is the by far worst Battlefield ever when it comes to the teamwork.

All I can recommend is playing the game with a group of friends - it completely changes the fun factor.

There used to be a lot of clans who would host fun events, often with prizes, and they pretty much balance themselves. I hope the trend continues in future titles.

That`s not possible anymore unfortunately. We got older and we have now different priorities. Most of them gave up on Battlefield and gaming in general, since we used to play Battlefield only in the past.

I jump in randomly whenever I got the time, and I get greeted by campers, people who wander around, heli, condor pilots that just crash vehicles whenever they can and so on. It`s impossible to play competitive match at all.

Maybe I am just not target audience for Battlefield anymore...

  • Squads

I have been playing BFV TDM and the highest scoring players all join 1 squad and they stay together for the text 20 games ensuring misery.
    Same thing on BF1
Same thing on any game that players can stay together on.

The idea, Friends can join each other to play together and have fun

The reality, people who would hate each other,  join each other so that they don't have to face each other.

    Solution
If at the end of every round the squads are split up so that auto balance can auto balance.

That is me...i love just having fun in the game. No competitiveness. Playing BF  like that for 20 years.

  • People have mastered exploiting objective focused game modes to only farm kills.  It has been an issue with this series and simular games for a long time now.  Heck. I have dropped this game for The Finals and it is even happing there as well.

Very few even go into the match thinking that they are going to support their teammates.  It is impossible to get balance with so many players having this mindset.

  • @Spaha_BiH you cannot find a balanced match.
The best you can do is to play with friends or a platoon to stack the odds in your favor and hope that it is enough to counterbalance any brainrot in your own team
