Getting placed into high ping servers post-patch.

So your telling me. In order to reliably play this game, without it throwing me into 200 ping servers. I need to set up firewall rules.

This is exactly why we need server browser.

I'm not telling you anything. It's a workaround until ISP fixes the route.

@BiggyBubbie Hi! GOOD NEWS. Singtel has fixed the routing issue. You can now unblock HK IP ranges. The ping has gone down to 30ms.

i turned off the rules, sadly still 180-190 ms ☹️ tried many times

after turning back on, sometimes i get into the 3ms servers whereas sometimes i get into the 180-190 ms ones. (and yes, i have the 3 ranges of IP blocked)

any idea if its the same happening to you?

@BiggyBubbie  Hi, Ok it seems that a few ranges are still not yet fixed. Can you try ping the below and let me know what is the result?

Hi i am using singtel too and im getting high ping as well ☹️

@WiperViper@BiggyBubbie It seems whatever Singtel did, they reversed. Now I am getting back the high pings when it was 40ms earlier. The IPs above was 40ms ping now back to 200+......

This is dumb. It's not your ISP it's almost certainly EAs bad matchmaking. This was a problem in BFV where it would connect people in EU to West Coast US.

This is exactly why we need Server Browser.

Lol yeah. Our ISP is really..... other ISPs in Singapore are getting 30ms+ to HK. I'm definitely thinking of jumping ship when contract ends.

Another range to block until Singtel sorts it out.......

It's not EA bad matchmaking lol.

Me and my friends plays in a same server, I'm getting 190ms while my friends are getting 40ms. One of my friend who is a Singtel user getting 200ms too

@xx-VoodooKing-xxI have a couple of friends experiencing the same issue. Do let us know what help is needed to get this settled. i.e lodge a complain to Singtel.

I can confirm this. I'm on Viewqwest and I normally get 2-3ms ping. When i get placed in HongKong servers, it's usually 38-40ping but my Singtel friends get 180-200 in the same match.

@WiperViper @BiggyBubbie Seems like Singnet again did something and now back down to 40ms. But I am not sure whether it is permanent.

Same, I've been getting 180-200ms ping since last thursday, also on Singtel. When playing with my friends who are on Starhub they were having 10-20ms ping on the same server. Previously I was using a VPN (from SG to SG...) to circumvent this issue, while on VPN I was getting 40-50ms ping which was still reasonable.

I just tried playing without VPN and can confirm the ping is now back down to 40ms. I think their network routing table got affected by the update somehow.
