Ghostmaker R10 Crossbow needs MINOR buff

The default bolt needs a minor increase in its max damage output (120 hp) so that it can one shot kill enemies wearing armour at close range.

Bolt rack ammo type also needs a buff - bolts need to two-shot kill at any range or within 150 m considering their slow rate of fire (40 rpm) and slow speed (450 m/s).

  • @Metal_Daryl97 100% agree. Ammo resupply should be edited to actually refill all arrows too. Sucks having to run Angel with it because ammo boxes only refill one bolt.

    No thanks… They seem to be killing me just fine.

    1. do you use armor?

    2. DO you actually get killed specifically by the "bolt rack" ammo type?

    great idea - that'd be a super fun addition (would also be nice for trolling xD)

  • Ghostmaker R10 lover here, glad to find some friends !

    I've played a lot with it it's my Top 1 weapon with Mastery 101.

    My opinion on this weapon, it is really powerfull and it's problem is more in the reload animation. Standar and explo bolts are deadly and don't need a buff in my opinion, while the 3rd option (Bolt rack ammo type) is useless (should give ability to shoot twice as fast to be reliable with such stats). Maybe Dice could do something for the rack ammo and give some love here.

    On the "reloading" point, i feel like there is a small difference between the visual reload animation and the effective reload time. In far too many occasions, after a reload i switched to a secondary or thrawn a grenade... and saw the empty crossbow restart the whole reload animation. I never encounter this with any other weapon in the game.

    Can someone at Dice check if the visual animation really match with the reload timer? For me it looks like the visual animation is a little shorter and the relaod timer should be adjusted...

    On another hand there is also the amunition problem, reloading 2arrows at a time is a little short... i would like to see it goes to 3 or maybe 4.

    I really enjoye the crossbow but everytime i play it i encounter difficulties with multiple reload animations for one bolt... not with it's power.

    The regular bolt is fine in majority of situations -  only an issue when you encounter an armor wearing person (120 hp). Max damage (up to 30 m) should be increased to 120 hp.
