Title says it all jets suck in this game we all know it... They are also just outright boring as hell. Why not makle them at least somewhat enjoyable to play? Theres an insane lack of vehicle customization in general and the game is in desperate need of content before your playerbase just gets tired of it. Im really missing BFV where we had 8 planes and like 50+ customizations for planes just in the beta alone... Now we have 2 jets with duplicate customization totaling 4 options the dev laziness is truly on display. [Edit: Caps Lock removed]]

The question is more whether air should have rockets pods against infantry. I do not think it has been a good idea in the past and I am the primary pilot.

Infantry do not have to deal with anything aside from the occasional little bird that flies in and kills 2 people before dying. In 2042 infantry don’t get punished at all. Helis are usually busy shooting each other and attack heli is really not very good. Compared to previous titles control of the air means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING dice kind of just gives us toys to play with and even puts respawn cooldowns to make sure we share the toys. truth is there SHOULD BE some kind of punishment for air control, jets SHOULD be able to pushing infantry and tanks when they gain control of the sky. They gave jets insane bloom and floaty physics its literally impossible to kill infantry. 30mm takes 8 hits has no splash and its hard to hit the side of a barn with the amount of bloom it gets. They completely destroyed the skill ceiling of jets because they don't want good pilots to destroy newer ones. This is why i'm proposing rocket pods to begin with. id love to see viable cannons or bombs too but considering they put so much effort into killing every last bit of skill involved in flying i doubt that will change any time soon. At least rocket pods dont have a crazy high skill ceiling.

@AerialDominance planes farm vehicles so thats enough they should be happy with that or they can take out helicopters

@UP_Hawxxeye he dont talk about kill infntry . .infantry is protected by imposible spots.. are to little.. we talk about physis and mechanics.. jets are soo bads. .so boreds.. we can get kills but not fun.. just check youtubel type doghfight tournament bf3.... u will never found nothing of this..

@MSu_SocraMThat has little to do with rocket pods though.

Jets need better physics, better mechanics, better gun, more actual avionics.

But not a tool that makes them better against the ground. Kings of the sky yay, kings of both the sky and the ground at the same time nay.
Youtubers like Silk can already terminate tanks in two passes with the 30mm and the AGM.
Never again should fighter jets rule the ground
