Good luck, uninstalled.

Wow, where to begin.

It is clear that you have chosen an approach that makes 0 sense to BF veterans in hope of creating something that will appeal to new players.

Good luck because I uninstalled after hitting lvl 40. This simply is not the game for me.

I was as excited as when I opened up BF42 on CD/DVD back in the days when I installed this game but after playing through about 20 hours and spending most of those hours walking around and analyzing the maps and how the game plays it is very dissapointing that you look up to COD and Fortnite as your holy grail.

You have consistently not listened to what your players/customers want like you are on top of the hill. You are not. That train left after BF3 and since then every single attempt to make BF a new kind of game has not worked out at all. BF1 was and is the best attempt with excellent maps, balanced weapons (once everyone is unlocked) and fun gaming. BFV as of today is a good game but it took many strange turns before it ended up a good BF-game, too bad people are hardly palying it now.

The obvious balance issues on day one clearly showed that you were not paying attention to gameflow, what people do with certain weapons and vehicles. It took me about 10 minutes to see that the PP-29 was all you needed to own everyone. Yet, you left it like that for 2 weeks. The LMGs are useless, you fire about 20 bullets in to somebody and they turn around and kill you and still have 45 health left. Is it supposed to be like that? LMG is supposed to be kind of like the sniper, you are at mid range and take out folks in close combat. It can not hit anything from a medium distance but all other weapons can, including pistols.

So you are left with using vehicles and that is fine in BF games but when everyone can be anything they want it is hard to make a difference. Classes is what made teamplay work, you depended on your medics, snipers, engineers or snipers to deal with respective threat. There is no teamplay around any type of enemy. It is all just a big unorganized mess on the maps. I dont think I have ever noticed belonging to a squad, except the ability to spawn on them. Since everyone can revive nobody does it and expect everyone else to do it. But then again once the round is over we are introduced to absolute cringy and redicilous comments from the winning heros that no other game except a kids game would put in a game, absolutely laughable.

So with that said, go on and continue on this path since you are so confident this will work out for you. The player numbers do not lie, you wont make up for this in sales, it is the micro transactions that makes it a win but for a game to be successful it needs to be simple in design, difficult to master and always make you go that other round, like the Rainbow Six formula.

I read the reviews from the big websites and I can assure you that I am done with those as well, they could not have been bothered with giving an honest review.

Good luck.

@SlowStreekerI agree. In previous battlefields I could pug a squad with no voice command just use button callouts to attack and defend and the squad would listen and people would arrange themselves in classes to help the squad.

This game not so much. Ill call out squad defends and attacks and hardly at all will a player follow them. Its a running around cluster. Or you get into the zerg ball and run point to points capping as the enemy team gets thier zerg ball and its two zerg balls rotating around the map.

  • Yep uninstalled this utter travesty lol it barely works and that’s being nice

  • @SlowStreeker couldn't have said better. Reached lvl 39. I am already fed up with the game. You unlock all the same stuff for all weapons, of which, only a few (as you pointed out), are usable. The game conquest is a mess. No team play, I have had maybe one time where the squad was really tight and it was a pleasant experience, but since you cannot choose your server nor make friends with other player you just played with... you are counting on luck to be put in a good squad. Too many vehicles everywhere. Choppers etc... We should have had smaller maps for infantry only. Or maybe 1 or 2 vehicles that you have to keep until the end. This way it would encourage team play. Like repairing, healing etc... I mean so many things are wrong here, it would be quite an endeavor to make it better again. The quick a dirty solution would be to bring back BF2BC or BF3. With newer servers and new graphics (maybe). I won't uninstall just yet, I think I might play some portal. But the main game is dead to me.
