Got BF2042 Ultimate Ed. on XBox, Do Battle Passes Work on PC through Game Pass?

I bought the BF2042 Ultimate Edition for Xbox Series X when it came out.  I have now downloaded the PC version now that it's available on Game Pass through the Xbox app and EA App.  I signed in using my Xbox account and see that I still have my progression, but not my battle passes.  It says I can upgrade to premium on PC but am already upgraded on Xbox.

Is this a bug or intended?
