Graphics on next-gen console are extremely disappointing

Jumped into my first games yesterday and the thing that shocked me most was how painfully low the graphics are. Not only are the graphics bad, but the maps feel empty and plain.

This is not at all what I expected from this game after everything they've been showing. This looks no better than Battlefield 4. I could understand the graphics on an Xbox One, but not for a Series X.

Anyone else shocked and disappointed at the poor graphics quality?

  • @Lexen umm personally i think the graphics are the best i have ever seen in an FPS on PS5, but that might just be me. The maps are supposed to be open with cover every so often. I think it makes people think smarter when it comes to moving to certain areas.

They might adjust things in maps as time goes on.

I'm not quite sure how the game looks on Console vs PC but from my experience on PC the game is STUNNING genuinely jawdropping at 1440p sometimes i kinda freeze up cause it looks so insane. So I wanna highly disagree with "poor graphics" but im not sure if we are seeing the same thing? I think we are? I'm playing at max settings with a 3080 so maybe a slight difference. Anyway no the graphics are probably the LEAST of my concerns with this game and they are at and above my expectation for a next gen title.
