Gun and attachment balancing
I wanted to discuss this as the past few times I hopped on to play this game, I keep finding myself confused on some decisions made in regards to guns and their attachments
Does anyone feel like the attachment system is very....underwhelming? Besides for long barrels/magazines that effect the rate of fire, I feel like suppressors, muzzle attachments have a VERY negligible effect on how the guns perform and their intended usefulness. There are many times I feel like I can get the gun to perform how I want by changing attachments, then I shoot at a wall and compare the attachments, and see no noticeable difference. Nothing like how BF4 was when it came to verticle/horizontal spread/recoil.
Secondly, I also feel like guns need further balancing. Accuracy on SMG's is fine, but the range seems to be too go compared to AR's. Then with AR's, I feel like single tap firing the AR's vastly out performs a DMR. It seems much easier to spam shots with little recoil and hit targets compared to the big recoil on DMR's and slower rate of fire. Feel like this needs to be tweak. As far as the PKP spam, I don't even know where or how that needs to be addressed....I don't use it but I get melted by it every time.
Also....Recoilless rockets hip fire accuracy is terrible. The damage, reload speed, and travel velocity just feels so underwhelming.
