Nothing has been said yet about what or if the ones who were in the Tech playtest will get any exclusive ingame items.
We'll probably find out when the game is released.
As Gun Charms are seem to be a thing in Battlefield 2042, i guess we'll see more of those along the way anyways.

@Its_Travis_199 traditionally we've never gotten anything for Alpha participation. In BF5 we had an alpha assignment that gave a dog tag when completed that was bugged for many, but previously nothing for mere participation.

- @Gattlin If it's a bug you're not a whiner. For account unlocks you'll need to speak with a Game Advisor at help.ea.com (I recommend using the call me feature so you don't wait on hold forever) since we can't access your account here on a public forum.
Well, in BF1 we actually also had a reward for both.
Closed-Alpha and Beta dogtag.
Closed-Alpha challenge:
Beta challenge:
No matter if you had to complete a challenge for it or not, in fact that players who had access to those things are actually able to get exclusive rewards. And usually the people who played those for sure came across the challenge that would unlock it. 😉
But we can't tell if there may be something for only participating in the Tech Test if there was no actual challenge in it.
We'll see in the final game then.

@Its_Travis_199 the alpha tag is the one I mentioned where you had to complete the challenge. Beta has had rewards in the past for participation.
Just saw you mention BF5, which also had Alpha and Beta rewards but there it was Badges as i remember.

- @Its_Travis_199 As there was no Challenge available in the Technical Playtest, I would think EA DICE would have to parse the logs of which players actually logged in, joined, and “participated” in the testing to award anything… it could happen, but I am doubtful.
@carsono311 we'll see ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ maybe there will be nothing for the Tech Test participation, as they even completely canceled it on the PS5 side which would be unfair then i guess. And it wasn't either called Closed-Alpha or Beta, so maybe this was actually just a Tech Test without any exclusives hidden behind.
But time will tell and we'll see in the final game then. 😉
