I take it you're talking about the Inventory screen? I myself wouldn't call that a delay at all, unless PUBG corp. changed something in the last week on Xbox.
@Popa2caps Yeah going into inventory, swap out scope, closing inventory. What does that take a second, 2 seconds, more?
Though personally I think you have to live with the consequences of your set loadout, unless you die so you can change it before respawn...
