Honestly 2042 has got to be the most anti social multiplayer game I've ever played. It's designed from the ground up to prevent you from interacting with other players as much as possible.
As for thread; been playing since 1942 and was playing right up until the servers for 42 and 2 were shut off.
My first BF experience was all about the social playing. 
I got addicted, i got good, i joined clans, i got competitive, i met so many good friends....
It was Battlefield... 
Now it is just a cartoon shooter.. 
SAD just Sad what has happened.
