If I can ask, what region are you in and what modes are you trying to play? I'm wondering if that's why you're struggling to find players outside of Portal.

Do you have cross play turned on?

@m1arcce This game is walking on its last legs, it's over 3 years old now. The player population is dwindling.
Depending on region, time and platform for various of the standard game modes finding a populated game is becoming difficult, especially if you turn crossplay off.

Considering the age of the game and the fact that development has stopped, meaning no new content will come, this will become an increasingly bigger issue.
