Hardcore on 2042: Am I missing something?

Does this not exist? I mean, it's been a while since I've played one of these. I think Battlefield One maybe. But have they abolished Hardcore mode?

I looked around and couldn't find it. Is it being implemented?

Portal had some teleporting tanks level of lag so I hope that's not the recourse.

I mean, without Hardcore, I could just stick to Destiny bullet sponging.

The lack of Hard Core mode is one of the things that annoys me the most. For example. You take a tank down to fumes all it has to do is back up out of the fight and it starts to heal itself. Same thing for all vehicles and players. This makes fast moving  vehicles such as jets/hovercrafts etc almost invulnerable. I played exclusively on BF4 HC, The past few months I was playing on BF5 Insane Assylum which was close to hard core and well admin'ed. The lack of HC is made for the soft squishy players.

even Portal don't give us good old HC.  For example, you can't off crosshair without clear all markers on the screen, you can't off 3d person vehicle view. IDK maybe it will be able in advansed dev settings but now you can't do classic HC mode.

As I thought before relize HC in Portal is like Community servers with HC called modifiers. Random preferences on each server.

I go to cancel my preorder after 10 promo hour untill better times. Coz without classic HC mode BF2042 is a comedy show with all this wingsuits, grappling hooks and Boris vs Boris fights.

Then again, Portal allows you to tailor the TTK to your choosing, global damage, head & torso damage separately, vehicle damage, bullet velocity, movement speed, sprinting, downed state, revives, health regeneration, markers, etc., etc.

I'm not going to say this is an excuse not to have a hardcore mode in the other modes, but it's not as if Portal doesn't still provide a lot of options that can be tailored for a more HC experience.  I would even go as far as to say that arguably, it is even more

I am also curious about the Editor and what exactly can be altered by that which is not in the Experience settings.  I'm actually looking forward to seeing what Karmakut comes up with in his milsim Experience to see what we might be able to borrow for our group's creation.
