Has DICE already cut support for 2042?
With the march update being just a scoreboard and leaving dozens of critical bugs untouched and zero balance changes it gave me the impression that only a small group at dice are still working on 204...

But maybe we should actually turn it one notch further:
If EA/DICE was very committed to BF2042 (and not having bailed already), why would they then not be very outgoing and vocal to all of us about this like nonstop??? And we would see a steady stream of fixes and new content coming out in very regular and frequent updates.
That we now instead get near absolutely nothing from them and just a poor minor patch coming out with a scoreboard being only meaningful new content months after launch is not a good sign.
I really wonder what those 700 folks are spending their time on in that Stockholm office?
(though recon its around 320 attached to the studio work itself, but still. The output is dismal)
@CyberDyme I wonder that myself. My only guess is they are trying something that may not work so they don't want to say anything until they know it's achievable.
There is nobody working full time on the game.

i'm suprised that was not called season 1 to kill the game more quickly.
Dice have thrown the towel in on this game as we now know.
Will punish EA by borrowing games now.
Dice well there finished nobody will be interested in their next game after this.
Who would trust them? even though EA were mainly responsible for release dice is on the box and start screen.
Im positive there are people working very hard on making cool new skins for you guys to buy.
Management has most likely reassigned almost all ressources within DICE etc. to work on the next Battlefield and/or other games.
Anything else wouldn’t make sense from a financial point of view.
They cut their losses with BF2042.
It's probably bare minimum staffing to meet legal obligations right now. Game had promise before Christmas with updates pretty much every week but from the new year and bad sales revealed , the quality of support has dropped to almost nil.
