Has DICE already cut support for 2042?
With the march update being just a scoreboard and leaving dozens of critical bugs untouched and zero balance changes it gave me the impression that only a small group at dice are still working on 204...

@Chief2GFDWhen EA/DICE are the cause of the first two problems (original map designed for BR & a scoreboard meant for a hero shooter), it's a matter of course in the FPS industry to have map expansions out already (iirc, BF4 already had one out and the other weeks away from release by this point in its life-cycle). The issue that you are seeing is the game of damage control EA/DICE is having to do coupled with established release cycles in conjunction with minimum effort/allocation/support from EA. A wholly self-induced situation made worse by brutal expectations of decades long, established content expectations of a "live service" (again self-induced by EA).
The fact that BF2042 was released way before the game was truly finished in my opinion was to beat the date of Halo Infinite. They pushed anything through for a deadliine. That alone shows how much they care for the game and BF fans! Your right, this is damage control because the game has been damaged since it was in Beta! Very frustrated with all involved making BF2042 it could have been such a great game but it is JUNK!
- @Keeleigh1 It was to make quarterly reports, simple as that. Get it out before the holidays so attempt to maximize sales while avoiding what was a very brutal Feb/March for major launches in studios Q1/Q4 (some don't match calendar year).
So we got sold 40% of a game and a promise that DICE will totally fix it and deliver the rest of it...eventually, at some point, please stop asking it's so toxic.lol Toxic you've got to be kidding me...and that lame excuse is just that LAME and uncaring about your community BF players to put money before making a product right. plus you don't tell me to stop doing anything I can state my opinion any time. I have only posted on this site maybe 4 times since January.

DICE doesn't give a crap about this game or community. I don't care what they SAY, I care about what they do. And what they've done is essentially abandon the game and community after delivering a garbage, unfinished game that's still deeply busted.
Honestly the whole studio should be embarrassed by this.
