@YLD_fox Ok, today is a Saturday night, and there is no game going on in ANY MODE in North America! Seriously?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
I played late Saturday night and AOW would not start with many of the higher player count modes, so I switched to the 16 player breakthrough and the game started with a single player on the other side, and 8 of us on my side...and then I proceeded to get about a hundred easy kills with Crawford's turret on A.I. spawning in one spot.
I've seen the same thing happen late at night in conquest 128 mode once, the server glitched and started with only about 8 players. I ran the stealth heli and had 205 kills to only 2 deaths in one game.
Point being, I would assume Dice does not want to allow servers to start with A.I. as the A.I. are horrible at tactics, and thus easy to farm. Thus it is really easy to level up with a server full of A.I.
So until players become less sensitive to "level farming" in portal, etc...Dice is stuck between a rock and hard place.
My solution to Dice would be have a floating leveling system, that takes into consideration the number of A.I. at any one moment on any one server late at night. Thus instead of giving me 100% of leveling in a 205/2 game full of A.I. reduce my experience 50-75% to keep it fair.
If Dice had variable experience leveling, then they could start a game after a minute on a server that was only 10% full, instead of the 25 % full requirement currently in place.
Personally I'd be O.K. with no experience late at night when servers don't fill, as no experience and getting to player is better than no experience due to not being able to play...
Solutions exist...time to think outside the box...
