Have you been BANNED!? Read this

Hello Gamers,

Here is a quick rundown of what I have tried and what EA is doing right now.

  • I tried appealing, and they would respond with copy-paste replies. No proof of cheating, just that I violated ToS point  6.
  • I submitted a request to the Better Business Bureau, and they used similar copy and paste and closed the ticket eventually.
  • I tried submitting a request to eaprivacy @ ea and dpo @ ea also failed, but they offered more information. I was seriously considering getting an attorney at this point to prove my innocence.....
    1. Our anti-cheat technology detected that you used an unauthorized software application that facilitates cheating during one of the sessions identified in the attached file. Players may not use tools like free or commercially available cheat engines and/or specialized scripting software to augment gameplay as this provides them with an unfair advantage and does not foster a fair gaming environment.
    1. Our team detected that you are intentionally engaged in “boosting”. Boosting can include win, or kill trading, abusing game features in an unintended manner, or otherwise manipulating in-game systems with or without the collaboration of others to gain an unfair advantage.
    1. Our team detected that you engaged in excessive teamkilling. In some game modes, it is possible to kill your teammates – a behavior referred to as “teamkilling.”  When this occurs excessively, it prevents the normal flow of gameplay and degrades the game experience of others.

  • Currently here: I went on LinkedIn and messaged three people who had "anticheat at EA" as their job title. They are investigating the whole thing now themselves. I also mentioned that there had been a ton of bans, and it seems strange to me. These bans don't just happen on BF2042 but on multiple EA titles. I mentioned reading the forums on here, on Steam, and Reddit, and I see a ton of people getting.

Please upvote this so it stays on the top page, and other users who get banned can see it.

UPDATE 1: My ban was overturned this morning! Still don't know what caused it, waiting to hear more, hopefully.

UPDATE 2: No information on why I was banned. If you are all still banned, I suggest reaching out to people on LinkedIn because even though support does "re-investigate," they are not fully looking into it. I have tried asking my original contacts to look into other bans, but they just said they forwarded my case to "EA Fancare team." That means an actual person with more skills looked at it.

UPDATE 3: Account was banned again, played under 10 games on the weekend, and I find out I was banned again.  Look at the UTC times. Something is seriously wrong with their Anti-Cheat.

UPDATE 4: I stumbled on this article this morning. Seems like it is still relevant.
Reddit post

UPDATE 5: Public numbers.

General Support (U.S.): +1 (650) 628-1500 (can leave a message after pressing 2)
EA Sports Support: +1 (650) 628-1393 (gives busy)

UPDATE 6: All of us should try pressing them on X.com @EAHELP or Instagram @EA

UPDATE 7: I tried reaching out to more LinkedIn employees, but I had no success.
edit: EA ToS employees or EA customer service employees.

UPDATE 8:  I received an email that my account was unbanned! I sent emails to a new batch LinkedIn users who had EA ToS job descriptions at EA yesterday, but never had correspondence like I did when I did it the first time.
edit: randomly selected EA ToS employees (not random)

UPDATE 9:  RanzigeRidder2 Randomly selected employees at LinkedIn who had EA Tos in their job titles. When I spoke to the people from EA anticheat, they said that they don't handle this, but "ea fancare" does.  So it isn't as random as you think. Also, you can see I tried appealing by regular means and that didn't work. When the account was unbanned, I also didn't know why it was banned, so how do I fix the problem of getting banned the first time?

UPDATE 10:  Let me add to that, approaching the Battlefield community managers. Some of them are active  on these boards as well https://www.ea.com/games/battlefield/battlefield-2042/community
