why not preorder. you can cancel anytime before it comes out.
you get early beta access that way.
- 4 years ago@trip1ex I did preorder it, but I canceled it. I may put 5 bucks down, just to reserve it, but I am going to wait for the beta before I make a final purchase decision.

I had the money saved for it so I got a $110 Xbox Gift Card and used it to preorder the Ultimate Edition after reading about the AI Soldiers and the Portal modes and how we will be able to create our own Bot Matches with up to 127 AI Soldiers with it.
However with how quiet they have been lately I am beginning to regret it unless they give us a huge positive update about how everything is going before the end of the week.
- 4 years ago@Jesse165 I've been on this rock for a good while. In my experience, it's usually not a good thing when a company is quiet about a product, when people have serious and valid concerns. That's why I decided to wait.

With the way things are going. Wouldn't surprise me if they spring the Beta a week before the release of the game. They most likely figured the time that you would have to cancel your orders after trying the beta. This would eliminate the possibilities of refunds. The early release of the game to the pre order crowd would most likely be a extended beta test.
- BtheReaper494 years agoSeasoned Veteran@trip1ex just curious, do they still have early access with the Sept 22nd beta? I thought I saw that it was now open to the public day 1. Is that wrong?
