I could say they were lazy only having 2 different factions in BF3 and three different factions in BF4. Especially since there were many more factions in BF2.

I think you really dont get it do you? Its not the factions and 2042 is different as they are 10 particular "heros" that look the same no matter what side.
Had this been fully fleshed out it would prob be not a talking point. It all goes back to the fact that this game was released half assed. You can twist the facts all you want and considering that there is no single player campaign - having not unique characters for US and RU reeks of sheer laziness.
Im no game designer but I would - and so many others as well - have better ways of implementing the specialists. The LEAST thing Dice could've done, is at least give the RU side complete different color scheme and unique headgear or gear in general to that side. So stop being a sucker for dice and pretend like its ok for companies to release unfinished games.

And here you are again as well. So if you think you can do better along with all the others that you speak of then why arent you on the dev team? If I made a post saying how much I enjoy the game I guarantee you there will people post a counterargument and how much they hate the game. So I will do the same when someone posts a topic about how much they hate the game.
People don't need to be electricians to notice the lights are off
People don't need to be farmers to notice when crops are rotten
People don't need to be on the dev team to notice questionable, at best, design decisions
There are very valid criticisms of the game on this forum and you continue to willfully ignore such criticisms and blindly defend a multi-million dollar company that needs no defense from you. That's why the user called you the "hate police" or whatever it was they called you.
