Hazard Zone Reveal…
So what are we thinking, post-Beta? I think they cannot simply do a typical BR, so I am betting it is a PvPvE (AI soldiers) style thing.

Re-imagined Firestorm mode of BFV, but less of a running simulation due to different map constructions?
Perhaps the old Ring of Fire will now be some form of Hazard instead?
Don't know about the AI bot focus @carsono311 , but it would certainly improve Firestorm mm waits!
@carsono311It's been confirmed that it's not a Battle Royale mode. It's been confirmed that they're not releasing a Battle Royale mode at launch or are planning to, and it's been confirmed that Portal won't be able to host Battle Royale.
All of this is excellent. Keep Battle Royale garbage out of BF2042.

From what I've heard so far it's going to be something more similar to Tarkov. Go in and get high valued whatever and then extract to get out. If that's the case I'm super excited for that. I don't like Tarkov because the game play and "realism" is convoluted in my opinion. That idea always intrigued me though and it sounded like another evolution in shooters. Guess we'll find out tomorrow?

Full Hazard Zone Trailer will come October 14 - @carsono311 Since they already describe it as Squad based mode, I don't think this will be interesting for the Battlefield fans. This might be maybe something for people that prefer Squad based PvP modes, like Apex Legends and R6S, oder PvEvP modes like The Division Dark Zones.
Never played Tarkov, is it something like Vigor perhaps? That would be great but I wonder how it would work.
Happy to see that I called it, but not sure how to feel about Portal… gives me a Battlefield meets The Division Dark Zone vibe…
