- @Threedog1421 Maybe either, maybe both. I had a blast playing the beta, and I have enjoyed BFV and BF1 enough to well cover what I payed for them 1-2 years after release. I think the biggest problem for Dice to fulfill the investors expectations on RoI, and that is not likely to change unless active gamers with a love for the franchise invest.

What's a little more annoying is that in that setting, the specialists make perfect sense.Got nothing to do with battlefield for me, but as a distraction/alternate game-mode (much like the dark zone), sure.
- @TrasteTh I know, was tongue in cheek. We'll see on release. I honestly am not interested in core and really hope Portal pans out.
Something I'm focusing on at the mo is the in-game currency. I think it's interesting, in a good way, that it can only be earned through play and not purchasable. In theory that should stop it from being pay-to-win.
- @ElliotLH I agree, there could be some traction and incentive for the players there, if implemented well. I am not sure If i missed the detail, or it was not made clear, but you will lose what you bought for your Dark Market Credits if your squad does not make it, but do you also loose any unspent credits?
Just some random thoughts....
So the mechanic of the mode is that your squad needs to find, collect, steal hard drives, and if only one makes it out, you are fine, right?
So one squad member camp - near the extraction point, if known - three goes raiding for drives, the camper extracts early, the rest of the squad can continue to raid safely because the camper is safely extracted already, and use the second extraction?
Does it matter who is carrying the drives?Does it matter if squad members extract at different extraction points?
