Looks interesting, I think people are desperate for something competitive that isn't WarZone or Apex or another janky BR.
However, if EA doesn't slice this mode off and make it Free to Play, then they have no chance whatsoever.
Firestorm was an amazing BR that saw no love because it was locked behind the BFV paywall. If EA doesn't figure this out, then Hazard Zone will be another Firestorm and will fail.
I hope there will be option not to fill up a squad so I can play it with my one bf friend..
@Threedog1421Agreed, even the blog was stepping lightly on certain points. Looks like they're still uncertain themselves of what they want the mode to be. Because to be honest... they could've shown way more in the trailer, it felt reserved and held back.

- @S3SSioN_SoL I agree, I'm wondering is it permadeath ala BR etc. How would that even work? Things like that. It could be a cool mode. But I doubt they'd do it right.
- @ElliotLH @ElliotLH I will absolutely try it out, I have great faith in Dice to get things done well (....eventually?), and it does in no way take away my excitement from BF2042 and Portal. I have not regretted or doubted my pre-order for a second. It may turn out to be something I play all the time in the end, as I am now reconnecting with some of the guys i used to play with in BF4, but at the moment i am a casual gamer playing "alone" and that may be influencing my reaction.

I have no interest in BR, but being it's not f2p, it's not going to compete anyway. The trailer itself did say it's launching on Nov 19 as well. Which is to say, the base game is not likely to be delayed again as maybe some may have thought. I think they'd know before the trailer if they were going to do that.
Seems reminiscent of Division 2's Darkzone which was not bad as long as the tryhards didn't join.
