- @Prep768 This. I also have no issue with the mode being there, if it draws in players from other games, fine.
Core BF without classes, especially when it becomes obvious where those specialists really "belong", just do the smart thing, let BF be BF and if the new mode takes off, by all means put resources in it, but keep BF conquest (or any other old mode) what it was and don't "fix" things that aren't broken.
I don't even mind the gadgets in the core game, just make them a "specialist" perk for each core class, it's not like they're not already divvied up between quasi-classes already. Also looked like the division to me but I never played that mode, just not interested, sure it's good for the video editors.
Wondering why the trailer showed people's classes above their heads when it's irrelevant info, unless they've done a rework to how stuff works. Or are specialists built differently in this?
I can't wait to see this mode as it looks new and interesting as alot of people have their own opinions about it but I think they have to wait until it actually comes out to give it a good opinion on it. Otherwise there's been alot of negative people out here saying that's it's not going to be much and it's going to be a dead mode. But all honesty I think warzone is going to be the one that's you g to die out once Vanguard comes out cos that was an absolute mess of a game and I'm just not willing to pay top dollar for a remapped WW2 game with hardly no new changes. I hoping that battlefield lives up to its name once again with a game that will turn the tide as no one has said anything about portal yet and that's a game changer there.
I think HZ will be a lot of fun. I don't think it's really a "BR" with objectives. I think once people start to appreciate the match story-archs and the ability to get weapons etc it will be a lot of fun. Reserving judgment however until I get to play it.

HZ is probably just a BF sidemode with a little more work put into it than usual. Maybe enough work to be a main BF mode. But not enough to be its own game. That's my guess.
Hazard Zone will be one of the 3 main parts of BF2042, besides the normal multiplayer(All out Warfare) and Portal.
It's just like a different game mode, but with probably more specific features to it.
