Ya, that's what I thought and I even sent the screen shot of the screen showing I own the standard and the Gold is $90 lol. In the past you never had to refund and re-purchase, you can just buy the upgrade. Maybe then just need to add in the option. Figured it would just recognize I have it already (which it does) then discount it while ordering it. I went all the way to final step in purchase and was still the $90. Ugh. Hopefully they can figure it out.

Hey @TheDrunkenPuppet if you have pre-ordered the standard edition and wish to upgrade to another version of the game then you will need to cancel your pre-order and then purchase the other version: https://help.ea.com/en/help/account/returns-and-cancellations/

@EA_Darko That's my issue. I obtained the game from one of EA's promotions I am assuming. Got it "free" from buying the WD Black SSD card on Amazon. So I have claimed the game in my Origin and wanting to upgrade that standard edition to Gold. I cannot refund it. Shouldn't Origin recognize I have the standard game when ordering the Gold edition and subtract 59.99 for my new total? I feel that's how it should work anyway.
