The alternative pilot gun option is superior vs helis. I mean the ones that are the base guns.
For the ground forces one still has the bombs.
@0_Katsui The cannon is its main air v air combat. Now it'll be inferior to all other heles. Honestly I can't imagine even being able to kill a Hind/Condor any more.

^^^Completely agree^^^ That said, it will be so dangerous for stealth heles to fight enemy heles, therefore the stealth heles will adjust and stay closer to the ground and hide behind cover. This unfortunately will have the unintended consequence of more multi-kill bombing runs on the ground infantry. I stopped making clips of 8-10 multi-kill bombing runs as they are not rare or difficult, and needs to be addressed at some point as I'm guessing it's not fun being on the receiving end of the "mini nukes"...

I like the majority of changes Dice released in #1.2, yet some have the potential to create unenjoyable unintended consequences...

No it not. The main Air vs Air gun for the stealth helicopter is the other gun that one can select in place of the HE 30mm cannon. The dual HMGs that are basically a better version of the nightbird miniguns
Patch looks promising, will have to see how it plays. Hopefully performance is better.
Interesting timing for the patch, the day of, and hours before EA earnings report. I wonder if the DICE devs knew of any impending corporate news that would make them get it out the first available date in August compared to their normal timelines (early = 15-17th).
i doubt ea will even mention battlefield
is the sfar still bugged? was thinking about doing T1 on that next but if i can't ADS sometimes i'll do the mp9 or something else

Those overheat very fast, do less overall damage than the nightbirds miniguns, are accurate to much less distance, are much harder to hit targets while moving quickly, and even harder to hit targets that are moving quickly. Typically you're both moving quickly in encounters, making them only useful for close range.
And then since you've made the hele a triple HMG loadout, it's fairly useless at doing anything but being pesky to other aircraft - forget killing infantry unless you want to be m5'd. The current 30mm with its fast overheat is still a better pick than that option for air v air.
(TLDR: horrible loadout)
wonder what they broke with the load outs that they locked the ability to save them for now.
Who knows, I played a few rounds earlier and didn't notice anything?
- @Psubond FIFA and F1 drove EA outperformance this quarter. Madden an Apex did well. BF 2042 really did not matter this quarter, as last quarter it was called "BattleField Flop", so not really a factor in the bigger financial picture for EA.
Dice impact is where BF did some damage via lower moral, increased turnover, shuffling resources, low performance reviews, etc. Not an employee, yet "been there, done that" on other "product flops"...
EA is up nicely in after hours after reporting solid revenue growth that beat Wall Street forecasts...yet the 47 P/E ratio seems too high in a Fed tightening, stagflation economy...

Last night we had a full party/squad of 4 and the 5th person on our discord said they could hit join/invite for anyone that was already in the party and joined our server and our team. Maybe it can't guarantee being on the same team due to balancing, but at least they were there and we could chat.

There's a number of hiccups to it.
I lead a party as breakthrough defense on Renewal.
Someone in the match on Attackers joined my party after the match began, and it didn't move or change anything.They decided to leave the match and rejoin off me, got on defense with me.
A third person joined party as they started BF2042, and it put them on the Attacking team while we're both on defense.
After the one who left and rejoined died, they were force-swapped in-game to Attacking again, while I'm the party leader and still defense.I then proceeded to kill my party members for the remainder but was never swapped and nor did they return to my team 🤭
