you dont think its better to leave those old fond memories alone... Its like watching a movie again after 25 years after having watched it as a kid... It can only dissapoint.
The theory behind this gamemode just sounds somehow wrong to me.
Can we expect e.g. a BF3 map re-imagined with BF1-weapons (Hellriegel, SMG-08) or mix BF4, Hardline & BFV wepons.. How do you even balance those weapons...
I´m sceptical for the moment...

If it's real it's just like another mode, so you don't have to play on it.

@DeeCay_DK_81I don't think this will be an issue. The precedent has already been set.
BF3 had 4 remastered BF2 maps with the Back to Karkand DLC. All were excellent.
BF4 Second Assault DLC were all new versions of BF3 maps brought into BF4.
Dragon Valley 2015 is a reimagined BF2 map for BF4 that is one of the best in the game.
But even then, consider how many games Wake Island has appeared in. That was originally a WW2 map in BF1942. It's been in BF2, BF1943, BF3, BFV, and I'm sure one or two others I'm forgetting. Still the classic gameplay every time.- HudsonSSD5 years agoNew Ace
I would love to see 128 players on Solomon or wake island
- rainkloud5 years agoSeasoned Ace@DeeCay_DK_81 I was thinking they would make just BF 2042 but on remastered BF3/4 maps but without taking balance on those maps into consideration so they'd not really be for "serious" playing but more casual engagements.
There were rumors a while back about BF3/4 remasters and them being subsequently cancelled and my suspicion is that project has been repurposed as (or was perhaps all along) this "BattleHub" idea.
