TTK slow, way too many bullets to kill, all with hit markers:
Start with 31 bullets, down to 9, only one kill, 22 bullets, should easily kill 2 players with that many hit markers.
I've been a Battlefield player since day one. I've played BF2 for ~5000 hours. But now the time has come: I throw in the towel. I really don't know which community the developers listen to? I don't seem to be part of this community.
Nah man it ain't just you they ignore just about everyone, unless you're a Youtuber/streamer and even then the only time they seem to actually engage with anybody is on Twitter not here in the "official" forums.
Apparently these forums are just a way to keep the peons and peasants distracted, I mean are you not entertained?
There are several posts on here that are 5 months old or older without even an acknowledgement that they are even looking at the questions or issues being raised within them.
I was hoping for an official answer: "Yes buddy, your Game looks totally weird. We as developers have to do something about that!"
Facts:
1.) I want to play!
2.) I can't play like that!
3.) It was 6 months no problem!

@Adamonic you're probably right about lag compensation punishing low ping players. Battlefield 1 has a special lag compensation setting to help out low ping players.
It says, "Enable if you have low ping and other players are jittery." Does bundles bullets count as jitter? It might!
I read about how lag compensation works. It time travels high ping players into the future. It's weird stuff. Playing with a high ping can feel smoother and give you increased reaction time too.

What I always notice:
1.) When I push around the corner with a low ping (~12ms), it seems as if the opponent has been waiting for me for a LONG time. They just sit there with their visors up and kill me very easily.
2.) When I play with high ping (70ms to 150ms) it seems like the opponents are completely surprised and everything feels right.
It's not normal what dice is doing to us.

We should not be penalized for having a low ping, especially when we can't choose the server we play on.

Ok friends, try the following:
Windows 10 + 11
1.) Download TCP Optimizer 4 (https://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php)
2.) Run TCPOptimizer.exe
3.) Then select "Optimal" below and click on "apply" (do not set anything else!)
Note: If possible set the LAN settings to default (Device Manager) and do not use tools such as "Asus GameFirst" or "Intel Killer". You can download your LAN driver and uninstall the current driver from Device Manager and reinstall the Lan driver. Then it is 100% on standard.
4.) Reboot the PC
5.) Regedit
6.) Go to: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Multimedia\SystemProfile
7.) NetworkThrottlingIndex = 45 (decimal)
8.) Reboot the PC
9.) Tell me about your experience
As soon as I set NetworkThrottlingIndex to "ffffffff" the game is unplayable!
PS: I played a round and didn't see any of my squadmates. So I went to see what they were doing...
Today it finally went well again.

X-Box-Players can definitely see you earlier because it was programmed that way by DICE.
Why?
To compensate for their disadvantage (artificially).
Is that fair?

Exactly. This is so bad and in that case (with shotgun pellets) SO obvious how bad hitreg is.
But also: both players are STATIONARY, so ping should not matter here at all.
Furthermore, Enders got hit by the guy that was still facing in a completely wrong direction.
@EA_Atic please confirm that you saw this video and agree that this is not intended and being looked at.

NetworkThrottlingIndex = 70 (Decimal) or 46 (Hexadecimal)
nVidia Reflex = Off (in game)

I thought the hitreg on exposure was bad. I just played kaleidoscope and manifest and OMFG!!!! As much as I like some of the older maps, if I cannot play exposure it’s not worth playing for me.
Said it ages ago that it shouldn’t matter how long you have played the game for a refund because one simple patch like this can make it unplayable and ea/dice should be made accountable!
What they have done is made it more playable for high ping players and a lot less playable for low ping players and that’s completely unacceptable.
I won’t forget ea/dice and I will be reminding people about this game when your next instalment is due out!
