X-Box-Players can definitely see you earlier because it was programmed that way by DICE.
Why?
To compensate for their disadvantage (artificially).
Is that fair?

Exactly. This is so bad and in that case (with shotgun pellets) SO obvious how bad hitreg is.
But also: both players are STATIONARY, so ping should not matter here at all.
Furthermore, Enders got hit by the guy that was still facing in a completely wrong direction.
@EA_Atic please confirm that you saw this video and agree that this is not intended and being looked at.

Can they tune down the lag compensation a little bit? It seems way to forgiving for high pingers, penalizing players with low pings.Can we get a Server Browser while you are at it?
Assumption: The lag compensation is set separately for each platform.

- PC gamers with low ping are fu***d
Things are going really bad for me at the moment. My weapon does no damage. Bullets are dropped. Yes, even grenades are erased (do not exolide). I fall down instantly.
My curse: I have a good computer + a good internet connection (90% of gamers dream of it)
6 months... I had no problems and then the Netcode "improvement" came. laugh...

FritzBox 6591 Cable > Restart > Game runs fine again
Hopefully it will stay that way...

As he wrote -- he rebooted his cable router.
For me, this does not work. And of course it is not the reason as at the same time, hitreg in other games is fine. If it were a local issue only, then it should affect all games and not just BF2042. @DuaneDibbleyexactly my look at it.
Deleting, refreshing, changing stuff on your end might help now playing this unfinished game.
But they have to fix their codes so we can normaly play like we play other games.
What if i change too much on my computer settings, and it will be effecting my other games which work perfectly.Played half a round with ~100ms. Feels very good with the high latency.
It also has its disadvantages, but I think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages.

I can tell when it is going to be bad, I just leave. My TTK is always slower than my TTD but when that gap is huge and I need half a clip to kill someone and die in a split second, I use the handy dandy ALT+F4 magic.

Looking at the other bug reports, this probably should be moved to the Bug Report forum and consolidated.
This is a big issue.This was a screenshot from a video. This was not a kill, multiple point blank shots to the head. I died.
- @GrizzGolf its ridiculous, multiple point blank headshots and I empty my entire clip only to be killed with a single shot from a pistol.
I guess the Lis rocket can fly by you and still kill you. I was killed by that rocket. The desync in this game between server and clients is terrible.

It very often feels like their bullets are more compact so more fit in each TCP packet. Mine are big as hell so only few can fit in the same packet.
