@LlamaWithKatanaYep could show hundreds of clips of this happening but I have simply gave up on this mess.
The netcode was beta in beta than it is now

I'm just waiting what @EA_Atic or @Straatford87 have to say about that. I believe they asked for more clips showcasing the issue and here is it (feel free to correct me if they never asked for that). Apparently they went silent. Either don't want to acknowledge the issue or have nothing to say at all which is rather disappointing in the first place.

If you can post some instances you have played in here, that would help me figure some stuff out that may help the TTK vs TTD issues:

There are two things killing this game for me right now. First is how I have to join a match, blindly using MM. I hate that. We really need a Server Browser.
Then once I am in the game, this TTD vs TTK thing makes me ALT+F4 immediately. Just like when I see Hourglass.
This needs to be fixed, up the tick rate to 60 (at least for 64 player servers), lower the lag compensation, and give us persistent servers/lobbies and a Server Browser. All of this is doable. - RMEChief3 years agoLegend
This is a game killer. I am so sick of dying instantly but needing an entire clip to kill someone. You don't need MORE videos of the same thing over and over. 6-8 hit markers, player at 58%, I am dead in an instant and got all those rounds off before they kill me with 2-3. Fix this cr4p.
I don't even want to play the game anymore until this is resolved, if ever. It is not fun at all. The game is literally the antithesis of fun right now.
I will do the weeklies, get the T1 and be done with it.
I am not wasting my time beyond this season if this doesn't get resolved and a Server Browser added.

I'm still reading and taking notes on what you are seeing and thinking. There is a lot of theory crafting on why might be but not a lot of examples.

99% of the videos look the same. Player shoots enemy with multiple hit markers visible, enemy returns fire and player is instantly killed. In rez period, enemy health is visible and is likely over 25%.
I have switched weapons and it doesn't matter. I can sit there and hit an enemy over and over and it takes an unnecessarily high amount of hits to kill them on my own. In a 1v1 matchup, I lose most of the time, even when I have the jump.
You can look at my stats, I have an extremely high number of assists, because I can't kill anyone. According to the BF2042 Stat Tracker, I am in the top 1.2% of the game in Assists. That is ridiculous. - 3 years ago

I see the same thing, (watching frame-by-frame) I may or may not land the first shot, and then 2-4 more, some of them headshots by the marker at least and I end up dead and the enemy is at 56% or 35%. This seems consistent on the percentages. I appear to only get hit 3 times, first hit, second hit, then you can see my chr starting towards the floor and then the third hit lands. This is true with or without armor plates. They make no difference. It appears that having a good ping, expensive, up-to-date pc makes zero difference in today's gaming world. I'm thinking of moving to a 3rd world country and getting a 5 yo console so I can play on an even footing.

lot's of examples like that except I'm dead at the end of it and they still have ~56% health left...my latency is rarely above 40ms and 100 fps

It is pretty funny now because I try to guess the HP the player that killed me will have when this happens. It has ranged from 18% to 80% so far.

Wasted a full clip this morning and got killed. I saw a ton of hit markers. When I was killed the guy was at 80%

People who play on the SA server should have a ping of roughly 200 ms on Eu servers, which indeed would make the experience terrible. But a ping closer to 100 ms might be beneficial because of the lag compensation thing some people mentioned (dunno how this works)

Servers were crap last night. All 4 rounds of mine ended bad with just insane TTK and TTD. I hate this sometime

It was terrible yesterday, I have no idea what is going on. It has to be related to MM because there are no other variables unless they are doing backend updates.
It may be completely unrelated, but after switching back and forth from Mackay, all other superheroes are almost unplayable due to their movement speed. I played Angel for the mission assignment and it felt like he was running at 50% speed.
{EDIT - Terrible for me today as well. What the hell is going on? I am instakilled every time. Dozer's shield doesn't work half the time.}

I was just playing BF 2042 and was shooting at a player from about 10 ft behind them and my bullets never registered a hit marker and they turn and killed me with 3 shots!? Why haven't these issues been fixed? I paid goid money for this game and I can't play it because it is so frustrating. EA why? Why do you let these issues go on? Why are they not fixed? I have been a loyal fan to the Battlefield franchise since it first came out, now I will not buy another game, a waiste of money. All my friends ask me about what games to buy because they know I do research before buying them. I will never ever recommend a Battlefield game again. I can't stand behind a franchise that doesn't fix issues in the game and think of profit instead of the customer.
