I haven't played in a few weeks because this is just sooo bad for me.
I think Enders and Cadwoman have figured out what is going on with a lot of the hit reg issues. Apparently, there is a disconnect between the screen center and where the game is aiming due to recoil. This effect appears to be worse with some attachments and different weapons. This is groundbreaking stuff and should be #1 to #100 on DICE's priority list. Downgrade all other Jira priorities and fix this now. This is why your game is unplayable.
Check out these videos:
and for those not wanting to make their gaming experience worse, don't watch those aiming videos.
Now all I see is how off the aiming is in the game. It is almost like there is double recoil, on the gun and on the environment, both are completely random.

Lately I tried the 64 player version on the PS5 and I have to say it is much better than 128 player version. So I played against PC players, and I found that the game was surprisingly good and fair. I miss the big maps though. So I can't tell anymore what's the problem with the 128 player version. I'm not entirely sure it's the crossplay because it works ok on the 64 player version...so far...lately. I still have occasional Insta deaths behind cover on 128 player version, so I think the big version is just harder to play because there's too many people on the maps in certain areas at certain times. Also a little desync/hitreg issues because the network has to work twice as hard. As it stands, there are three versions of this game I can play, and they all feel different. The ps4/64, the PS5/64 and the PS5/128. I started to favour the PlayStation5 64 player version.
