How about for Season 4 we get a "Titan" mode?

Just like the BF2142 Titan modes, I mean it's 2042 maybe we could get an early version of the "Titan" tech?

If not flying Titans, then huge, tracked versions that could be moved around the maps.

One of the things I loved about BF2142 that was different than the other BF titles was battling to take down the enemy "shields" and then attacking the "Titans" themselves.

It starts like basic conquest but then turns into a Metro style grinder when trying to access the enemy control room.

What do you guys think?

    @Ironhead841 I think it was 4 that had the naval maps and had carrier assault? So there’s precedent for bringing it back. I don’t think they’ll have it on 2042, that would be new content lol. Maybe the next one, if it’s 2092. I’d love to see something like it though!

    Battlefield 4 (set in 2020) had the Hanger 21 map with a Titan ship under construction.

    22 years later in the same 'world' one has to assume those future weapons have moved out of the hanger...

    That said I don't think DICE Stockholm is too invested in maturing the lore of Battlefield; at least I don't think they'd accept much risk in the name of world building at this point.  I suspect they are in a 'play it safe' mode and happy to leave the lore up to DICE Seattle.

    If anything else, I would be really disappointed if we do not get a titan mode in 2042

    It seems like a Titan style mode/map should be possible in BF2042 but maybe it would be difficult to implement, I don't know.

    It was a solid game mode that had a little bit of everything for everyone.

    If nothing else, I hope it gets reimplemented in a future BF title.

    Titan mode would be fun. I'd also like a Walker added in conjunction.

    My hope was for them to bring all that to Portal mode but they dropped the ball big time on that.  I guess they didn't want it to outshine their precious AOW.  Maybe year 2 content will be geared more toward Portal or once they finish with S4.
