How can I make all weapons/attachments available in a custom portal experience?

I was making a custom portal experience when I noticed that there were locked weapons and attachments on most of the guns. In the base game I haven't unlocked everything so it'd make sense that I wouldn't have it there, but can I not make all guns and attachments available in a custom portal experience whether I've unlocked them in the base game or not?

No. You have to unlock the 2042 assets before you can use them as a player in Portal or anywhere else in the game.  .....and the only way to unlock them currently is in solo/coop, AOW or Hazard Zone.  Although I believe you can unlock them in official Portal Experiences as well.  It's BS but it is what it is.

They managed to cap XP in custom Portal Experiences.  I don't know why they could at least do the same with Mastery progression, etc. to avoid the whole farming thing.

@JB_9goat In the menu on the left side when modifying....
    Go into RESTRICTIONS.
Change the Teams off of the map default to another game.
Move down to Weapons and ensure they are all checked.
    Do this for each game.

If this doesn't work please reply with what game mode and any other information that may help.

@Kean_1111I was able to create a Gun Master which allowed my mates to use weapons they hadn't unlocked.

You can always force users to switch weapons in the rules editor.... that may be a work around.

I see.  I didn't know you could have access to all weapons using the rules editor.  As I recall you can't in the basic Experience options though.

@Kean_1111 This can be achieved through a few different methods.
a couple being using arrays, or setting variables, and the force switching inventory or replacing inventory.

I haven't played with the rules editor because to be honest, I have no interest in TDM or FFA in Portal.  .....just Rush and Conquest.

Hopefully it helps the OP though.
