How did you know if you were playing with/ against bots in the beta?

Simple question: I saw so many YT videos that said " they were annoyed by the amount of bits roaming around". How did you know if someone was a bot? I checked player names and rank several times. What did I miss?

@yungblockburna The AI had generic names and had (AI) behind their names. Like Brian Johnson (AI)

@yungblockburna The easiest way is if you have thousands of hours in the franchise you'd look at the bots and think these are stupider than the stupidest players you've ever seen. Another way is when you kill them next to their username it says "AI".

I like the bots. Battlefield is hectic so often you get kills on bots and because you're rushing you're not paying attention that you just killed a bot. The result is an equally satisfying kill as though you had killed a real player. The trick is to not check the name of every player you kill.

If there was a rank in the name, it was an AI Soldier. They also looked different than any of the specialists.

I think the AI specialists had names as others here have mentioned. Like: “Firstname Lastname (AI)”

@yungblockburna you could press ESC and pick squads/teams or something like that and you could see the scrore board with everyone. AI had AI next to their name in the scoreboard. For the record i noticed being killed by an ia once and i killed twice an ai soldier. Every other time i checked the teams there was no ai.

@yungblockburna you could always see "AI" behind the Bots name when you killed them.

Looked like this on the playerboard:

<Rank-Forename-Surname> [AI]

Visually on the Battlefield:

They looked like normal Soldiers, not like the Specialist characters that we played.

They looked like Soldiers, not Specialists
Their name was usually RANK FORENAME SURNAME [AI], like PVT. JOHN DOE [AI] on the kill card.

If they threw ammo or health, or revived you, they were bots. Otherwise, they were typical human players.

@kregora Could have been worse, the bots could bug out when reviving and teambag you for the rez duration instead.
