You can earn the ribbons in any gamemode. Go into breakthrough solo/co-op, get your 6 combat and objective ribbons, and probably 1 of each of the others in the process. Leave game > restart solo/co-op > repeat. I've gotten all 60 ribbons in basically an hour or less for each of these weeks. You get pretty much 9-10 ribbons guaranteed in less than 10 minutes per match.
Are ribbons fun? I play games to have fun.

They can be fun when they are the spice on the dish.
Not when they are the main dish. Nobody eats spice as their main dishPersonally, if I wanted to "force" people do do something, I would have them do designation assists, repairs, resupply, healing and reviving. Without those per round limits that the ribbons have

Great idea! Dice should do something with that. Like weekly missions or so to keep the community engaged whilst promoting PTFO. Oh wait....😉🤔

I mean, you can always tell if there is was a week with revives or spotting based on how much people revived you or used the drones
