Tried a few rounds in conquest and breakthrough and I gotta say not much has changed in regard to helicopters.
Stealth helis are still ruling the roost on breakthrough, staying in stealth-mode and hovering above AA range and dropping bombs on flags.
Transports helis are now just running the grenade launchers instead of the cannons and are still being used as attack gunships and not transports. They're still beating out jets too in air-to-air combat from what I saw as well.
The Wildcat AA is slightly better but still a TV missile or wingsuit/parachuting C5 magnet and usually doesn't last long.
So far not too impressed with these so-called "nerfs" they were supposed to get.

I know but in BF2042 it's supposed to be a "transport" not an attack chopper. I didn't make that distinction, BF2042 did.
All I am saying it's not too much has changed with this patch as far as I can tell.

@Ironhead841Because Liz cannot do her intended job properly among other things.
In any case, every map with a hind/gunship needs to have the jet and wildcat slots to counterbalance them.I cannot stress how frustrating it is to watch a helicopter of any kind (ab)use the much larger boundaries they have to easily escape ground AA in Breakthrough.

For starters the hind/condor need a flight ceiling nerf. Condor also needs a turn rate nerf. If that doesn’t work then also a health/miniguns nerf.

The heavy machine gun pods were in my opinion the biggest issue, it shreds anything in the air from an insane distance with little to no aim required, way too easy and does way too much damage. And those haven't changed. The change on the 50mm on the other hand can't even notice it.
What is this? This thing single handedly ruins AOW with open maps.
