@ChugKendallit’s simple really. I play until the cheating gets out of control.
…then I never pick it up again.
I will add, everything else is fixable, but the stigma from cheats is usually a death-knell.
- 4 years ago@carsono311 If cheating is under control, do any of the other things I mentioned make a difference to you, personally, in how long you continue to enjoy a title, or is cheating just the one end-all thing?
- carsono3114 years agoSeasoned Ace@ChugKendall I have seen the other things you mentioned get changed / fixed over time and a game recovers.
Cheating though, I mean it seems to me that BFV really died when the cheating was rampant and EA DICE never said a word about it…
Warzone is really struggling with it right now too it seems. It just really breaks a game if the cheating is not handled quickly and effectively.- 4 years ago@carsono311 I firmly agree. I'm hoping it doesn't get to that point, this time around.
Yeah, Warzone has been trashed--and it's been that way for a while, now. Sad, too, because I enjoyed it at the beginning.
To be honest, I really wish they would bring back Firestorm. That was my favorite of all the battle royale games, from any developer. I had a lot of fun with it. They could even release it as a separate game (like Warzone), and I would be happy with that.

I'm the same. As soon as the cheating get out of hand....i leave. Hopefully they will have some good anti cheat. The game is going to be taken over by tiktokers and streamers the first couple of weeks.
