How long to wait until Summer?

Usually my months leading up to summer are filled with anticipation for:

1. Sunshine

2. BBQs

3. Building sandcastles

No room for that this year.  Instead, this summer we've been gifted the delight of a count down to Season 1 launch.

So wait... when exactly is that?  Usually, I just look outside of my window and all information I need is right there.

Do they mean meteorlogical summer i.e. 1st June 2022... or astronomical summer i.e. 21st June 2022.  I'm right to assume northern hemisphere?

At 36 years old I thought I had a good grasp.  Can anyone help when Summer is expected to land?

    @RayD_O1 Yes...yes I can. And you'll be playing defense on Hourglass every time (if it's breakthrough) and more often than not you'll spawn in the last 1-2 minutes of the match.

    Which seems to be how most of my attempts to play breakthrough go nowadays. Usually the same 1-2 maps, always playing defense, usually as we're losing/about to lose.

    @edgecrusherO0 If Season 1 isn't ready by June they should really just shut the whole project down. We've been in Pre-Season since November of 2021. Season 1 has been delayed multiple times, with the most recent delay a significant half-year addition.

    If they cannot produce good content in a timely manner then it's time to close the project and move on. We cannot wait a year for every season to be developed and made available. It's not fair to the players/purchasing customers, and it's really not fair to the developers either.

    Put a bullet in it and move on if that's the case. Unsustainable.

    The recent patch did a really good job towards balancing the weapons and fixing bugs (Breakthrough 128 still needs significant balance changes as attacking team almost always wins).     We need 4-5 new AOW 128 player Breakthrough maps, 10 new guns, new specialist, vehicles, etc. This game needs a real expansion, something like a Premium BF1 expansion (Anyone remember those?!)

    Agreed, and most importantly they need to add a server browser / persistent servers so we can play through the new maps in rotation.

    Can you image the scenario, Season One arrives with new maps but MM continues to force you to play Hourglass 3 or 4 times in a row. !!
