How many kills before T5/4/3/2/1 mastery stops counting them in solo? 360?

I just noticed last night that I had broken 360 kills with the LCMG, mostly in solo because I've been using that to unlock attachments.  What I've now noticed is that I have unlocked the T3 badge, and the little progress bar is about a third of the way toward T2, so maybe low 400s worth of kills...but the number under it still says "360."  So does solo/coop AOW only count 360 kills, which is what it takes to unlock almost all attachments on most weapons, and then the kills to get to T2 (720 I think) and T1 (1200) have to be in multiplayer?  And does this hold true for all the other badges with T5/4/3/2/1 ranks (i.e., most of them)?  I don't really care that much, I just play solo to unlock attachments and learn guns as I unlock them, but I'm curious now if that is a bug in the UI or you can only get up to T3/Mastery 12 before solo kills stop counting.
