Bruh, we're still waiting for updates on the Portal weapons DICE announced would be coming to AOW at the start of S1, as they're probably coming sometime in S2 now...maybe...hopefully...nobody knows. Why DICE announced them that early just to go completely dark for 3 months is a mystery, at least beyond them trying to pump as much hype as possible while dishonestly implying that these weapons would be coming sometime in S1 because they were desperate to maximize hype for an otherwise mediocre S1 content drop.
Even this would likely take the team months and months of work to do given how long making literally any changes or new things in 2042 seems to take.
No matter how long it takes, it would undoubtedly take far less time than working on completely new content.
I absolutely agree that the dev team is working incredibly slowly, most likely because there are very few devs left working on the game, but that's why I made the post in the first place. I feel it's a more reasonable expectation than them adding tons of content, whether it be ported from portal, or just completely new. Kinda a win win for everyone. They do less work, and we get "more" content.
