How to play with my Xbox friend on my PC? Cant figure it out, Help!

My co worker has a Xbox series X and i want to play with him from my PC. I enabled the friends list from the XBOx and imported the friends list on EA app, and it still doesnt show up. Is there a tric...

1: Does he have the Xbox one version or the Xbox series X version of the game because the 2 version work on the Series Xbox but only 1 version is cross compatible with PC ..

2: Does he have cross play enable and do you have cross play enable ?

3: If both have cross play enable and you added him you will see him into the EA friends TAB that you have to open inside the Social tab you will have PC and EA friends your crossplay friends show up under EA FRIENDS .. You can also try to manually add him from inside the game
