How to play with my Xbox friend on my PC? Cant figure it out, Help!

My co worker has a Xbox series X and i want to play with him from my PC. I enabled the friends list from the XBOx and imported the friends list on EA app, and it still doesnt show up. Is there a tric...

I was searching for fix for this same issue.  
I am playing on pc and my friend on Xbox siries X.

He is playing siries X/S version on the game and we both have crossplay on.
Every time i send him frien request error pops out.

Please help

    @PORKOPCZ The most information I can find about that error message is that it may relate to privacy permissions on either the EA or Xbox account. I'm not sure if it'll help, but I suppose it couldn't hurt to check there.
