How To Report?

How to report cheaters in the game?

[Edit: All caps removed from title and changed slightly to make the question more apparent - ElliotLH]

  • Hi @l_m4ch1n4_l This guide might be of use:

    https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/report-players-for-cheating-abuse-and-harassment/

If it helps though, the steps to report in-game are:

    - Open the Pause menu.
    - Choose Squad and Players.
    - Select the player’s name on the list.
    Choose More.
    - If you want to block the player, select Block and then confirm when you’re asked to. Blocked players are also muted for you in voice and text chat.
    - If you want to report them, select Report.
Select the option that matches what you need to report.
    - Add information about what you’re reporting into the box and then select Send Report.

  • @l_m4ch1n4_l Can only be done in game, or you can get their gamer tag and navigate through the EA App (or however you access it), look for that person, and you can report them via their profile.

The game is full of aimboters. Easy anti-cheat no longer works at all (if it worked at all), apparently they decided to save money. Aimboters just ruin the gameplay. This is the main problem that they are not able to solve.

Not sure what game you are playing, but this is the BF2042 forums, not the one for BF5 or BF1, for which this statement might be more correct.

BF2042 has aimbotters, but in the roughly 1000 hours I have spend in game I have run across less than 10 that were obvious cheaters.

An option to report them is in game, so you can do that if it makes you feel better. But don't expect Dice/EA to take action and ban them. Your only and easiest option is to change servers.

@ForumUser I can say the same thing. What game are you playing? In the Breakthrough mode, rare rounds take place without aimboters.
  • To report some you need to go to the use the D pad to find the person you want to report click on them and find on their account report

@flcrmHi - no this is not aimboters - what you see / experience is what this game has a lot of: delay and lag. Perhaps because there is a very gentle rule on servers allowing all kinds of pings in. High ping vs low ping on same server - means bad play for the low pinger. But I do understand why you think that way - was there my self long time ago. Also this game is about being spotted - from people, turrets, "dogs", soflam and what else - you are spotted constant. Often when you get killed - check 1 or 2 persons involved killing you. Also often - enemy team work better making it look like you are just run over. All in all - I would say no cheat - could be here and there but def. not something I think about.
Final one.... make sure your AV does not have a nasty "footprint" in your game play. Make sure your AV is in game mode / have the entire folder excluded from the anti-virus engine. That made a huge difference for me !

LOL. You live in a fictional world. I received three such letters in one month - late July and early August:
